Good morning all.
I have used the drill a hole in the back of the caliper & bash it out technique many times over the years, as it's a common problem. I keep a large goody bag of spare pins on the shelf for just such an eventuality ![]() I taper the end of the pins slightly with a belt sander before re-installing them.
