I agree Fizz. I couldn't care less if they have a woman or not fronting the coverage just so long as they can present. Which is why I fear that this will mean a return for that awful Suzie Perry if the internet rumblings are to be believed.

I'm not so bothered about Eye candy as long as they gain the riders and crews confidence. Suzy did a good job of that and if they like her, they tell her more.

and my Vote, if we are looking for Eye candy, would be Ellie Harrison *Shiver*.

She's knows nothing about bikes that I know of but she'd be able to give you the skinny on any wildlife on the track better than anyone!

Suzie Perry is a biker anyway & had a passion for moto gp, Jenny Gow didn't really have a clue.
One image in my head was whenever Suzie went to talk to Jerry Burgess, even on the grid, he had the time of day for her, but he just walked away from Ms Gow.
Young Matt seems to have the riders respect & he does a cracking job & knows his stuff, so why not just junk the eye candy.
Roll on this weekend. Moto 2 for me, not too bothered about MotoGp, hope Scott Redding kicks serious butt this season

Matt Roberts to present, Steve Parrish and Charlie Cox in the commentary box, and Azi Farni doing the pitlane http://www.bbc.co.uk/pressoffice/pre...9/motogp.shtml

Am I the only one who misses Randy Mamola doing the pitlane commentary? Knew his stuff (obviously) and people knew he wouldn't ask stupid questions so spoke to him.

I'm surprised for one that Charlie Cox has held on as long as he has, he is/was a car racer and I think was told 'Motogp commentary or no job,' he is largely Stavros's baggage. Suzi was pretty good but she did follow it as a fan like the rest of us before she did W.S.B. for sky/bbc for a few years before they switched to GP for '03. Jennie had to frantically swot up over the winter on Motogp and it did show. Regardless of how much they know, a pretty girl is guaranteed to sell your product. .

Countryfile has been moved from mid-morning Sunday to a prime-time evening slot but get a foxy girl (Ellie!) and Julia Bradbury to present and the ratings are good, we havn't all become countryside lovers!

Got to admit that Charlie Cox adds some fun to proceedings.
Best quote I heard him say was "he's hotter than a stolen car on fake plates"
