Recommend Me: A Garage Floor...

Well the day after posting this I go into the site office and they tell me that because of all the delays they will paint it for me in advance of my moving in. All I need to do is to provide the paint.

I was going to go for something from the firm that embee recommended but due to the time constraints of delivery and getting it up to the builders to with a recommendation from a work colleague I rushed out to Brewers to get some Bradite DP5LS Low Slip Floor Paint and delivered it to the site office where I was told that I don't need to paint it as its already covered by some Latex based garage sealant that will be the same if not better quality than the paint.

So I ask what they have used. A simple question. A very simple question.

So I got the keys last Thursday and had to start using the garage for storage, which I didn't want to do as I know I will have to get all that stuff out to paint it which gives me the problem of where to store the current contents. But that's another problem for me to deal with later.

Finally today I get the answer of what they have used. It only has taken two weeks but the answer is Ardex K301 which is an Exterior Self-Smoothing Levelling and Resurfacing Compound. It recommended for use in garages but not for heavy duty industrial floors. I think it won't be a problem as although I would like to think it my garage is not going to be subjected to industrial levels of use. And according to the technical specifications it can be painted.

So all I need to do is check that the Bradite DP5LS can be used with it, which I think it can and then I will be good to go. But has anyone had experience of Bradite DP5LS? Or any last suggestions before I give the go ahead to paint?
