I'd happily run the iris chain, if you're going to throw it I'll pay postage to mine...

Edit: though as above it does need the rivet link replaced.

That chain seems perfectly fine (subject to a closer look of course) & if the gearing was right I would have had it off you for the sake of a few links.

Will have to see what happens as will need to send my receipts to the dealer, as he said if I was local he would have fitted a new chain. I'm guessing I'll probably have to send him the rivet link as proof of damage so assuming he doesn't want the rest of the chain as well then I'm more than happy to donate it. Jambo, I guess you have first dibs as you replied first. Sorry Runako!

Mate, the point I was trying to make is that you have it, it's fairly new, and for the cost of a rivet link you're sorted. Keep it on there and keep the other as a spare, but if you're determined to get rid drop me a pm

Haha, no worries. I don't actually need it but it would be a shame for it to go to waste is what I meant.

I'm probably being a bit OCD replacing the whole chain but I guess I'd rather just have a DID on there for piece of mind really. V Twins are pretty harsh on chains after all. Then again I'm probably just crazy
