I fitted a 2005 Honda CBR600RR Regulator/Rectifier to mine.

I would always recommend you get the appropriate donor wiring diagram to ensure you know exactly what you need to do. I now have subscribed to manualclub.com where they seem to have most stuff downloadable if somewhat slow.

Be prepared to have to bodge a connection. So you end up cutting your old connectors off, solder the old connectors onto the donor RR, use heat shrink tubing to insolate your joints etc.

Take your time, and get it right first time. If in doubt ask.

Those panels are a nightmare to remove. But thanks to the forum i managed it. There is a hole burnt through the rectifier. Now to source for alternative.

Always worth ensuring it functions properly though, even though the Suzuki bit is a known weaker area they're not the only ones that can fail.

SS you will poss know this.

Why does the TL regulator have 7 wires (3 yellow & two pairs of Black & Red wires)? Is it possable to use normal 5 wire regulators with this system?

As I remember it's just duplication, in effect it's a five wire system: live/neutral/3 phases.

Can anyone tell me what the 8.0 rating on the suzuki rectifier means? Just been out to get one this morning as the sun is out and just can't miss a weekend riding. The breakers had one off an Honda CB400. It had 9.6 on it. Will it be suitable for my bike?

Thanks
