Quote was with Carole Nash over the phone, I know they're not going to be the cheapest as I've never insured my bike with them but they are useful as a guide.
I know, the plan would be keep it for a year and then scrap it so I don't need to worry about servicing and MOT. And I wouldn't use it much anyway, just to do the shopping and to pick up bits of bike etc. But as Fizz said you've seen my bike... Well there are some good guess's and someone is close, keep 'em comming... |

![]() Quote:
![]() ![]() My insurance (for 28 year-old, professional male - with 3 points on licence) was about £650 (fully comp for a 3 year old car). I crashed it twice, and they wanted to put my insurance up to £2000, but then told me that if I had a Thatcham-approved Cat 1 immobiliser fitted they could do my insurance for £800. My first thought was, "And just HOW is having an immobiliser fitted gonna stop me from crashing it? (unless they intend keeping hold of the immobiliser key ![]() So I'm gonna guess at around £800 for you (the mk1 IIRC has a slightly higher bhp figure than the mkII, plus you're under 25, although in your favour, no points? no accidents, and the value of the car is low).
