you can pay the £60 (or that's what it was when i was restricted) or as i found out the hard way if you get points on your licence (speed camera 2 weeks after the restriction was lifted.......but in the efing car!!!) then they are kind enough to allow you to send in the form from the post office to update the licence (i.e. take the restriction off the back of the card) at no extra cost. But again this was a couple of years ago now so that might have changed!
