Default Should I buy a mini?

It's a BMW I've got them on.

If the suspensions been set up to accommodate those tyres it would be interesting to see if that's compromised by fitting conventional tyres.

I think they're fine TBH, but I also think BMW's are great in the Winter so I know I'm not with the majority view.

The cost is a fair point - they're certainly pricier - but as I get around 28mpg out the car it would be churlish to moan about the cost of tyres

I should clarify I am referring to the BMW Mini.

From what I understand if you fit conventional tyres the ride quality vastly improves.

Now at a guess here I don't think that the suspension has been set up to accommodate run flats and this is the problem. I would imagine that all of these BMW Mini's have the same suspension installed and then the tyres either conventional or optional added.

I would also be surprised if the car offers any form of suspension adjustment as standard as cars of this type are built for the lowest common denominator.

Aye I expect you might be right with the MINI.

Anyway, sorry for the slight derail.

For the OP, I'd agree with the extended test drive and make sure you're going to be happy driving the thing. Seems to be one of those cars people fall in love with the idea of, but that wears off.

A friend of mine recently got the Fiat 500 she was desperate for. A couple of weeks after getting it you could tell she was still trying to love it but was actually finding it a hugely impractical PITA. Felt a bit sad for her.

Mini actually has quite an extensive range of models and options now.
What exactly are you looking at? Diesel or petrol, awd?

Run flats are a pain in the preverbrial to change. They need to hold on to the bead without air.
I'd not have them as Mini does TPMS you can live with sticky string and a CO2 pump 80% of the time.

Then you should stick with what you have until you have made your mind up and not let the idea of what I would agree looks a very favourable finance package sway you towards the Mini.

have you had a test drive yet? And fully considered whether it'll do all the duties you currently do in the BM? You're happy with the finance, just not 100% on the mini, so if you haven't had a test drive yet go and get one. If you've had one and you're still unsure then it's probably not the best idea to commit to something you're not sure about

I'm not doing it. I'm gonna hand the Beemer back and voluntary terminate. Can't justify paying what I'm paying for a car I don't like that handles like crap.

I'll get a second hand car. Probably Volkswagen/Audi group of some sort.

Then I may have enough pennies left to save for a new bike
