Just a heads up.
Halfords have got a little sale on and these are up for grabs. Not the pivoting head type but good all the same and well worth the money. http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/s...egoryId_165572 |

Unfortunately that is their standard price. They are not on offer. Without a long and boring explanation of the how and the why and a delve into modern day retail practices, trust me on that one.
That said they are good tools. |

Ah, ok, didn't realise they were pulling a fast one with their claim of £40 off.
I have a set of the pivoting head ones that have come in very handy a few times where a socket won't reach and to get to the nut would mean hours of stripping down. |

I recieved a set of those for my birthday which was nice and considerte of the purchasees. However, i i already have a set of Sealy versions, so had to return them in exchange for something else. I hate do that to presents i really do. Always makes you seem ungreatful. Bought a Blutooth sunvirsor thing for the car which is most excellent, so not all bad.
Im still nto a great fan of Halfords tools though. Thier retchets seem to be of average to poor quality and not covered under thir warranty. I have a 3/4" ratchet and a 300ft/lb torque wrench both with knackered rathchets after lightish use and Halfwits didnt want to know even after complaining to thier HO. |

Not really a big fan of over-marketed products. 33 piece set (13 that is and some useless 20 screwdriver bits with no screwdriver handle in the kit) now with £40 off which seems to be about right if not a bit more expensive than a similar kit of similar quality.
They may be good in quality, but good tools should sell well without the added sugar coating. |

I admit I am not a fan of Halfrauds tools. But having snapped a brand new Britool T27 1/2" drive torx on Sunday trying to undo a bolt on a Stihl cutter they are now off my list of recommended manufacturers.
So sorry people I have to say buy once, buy Snap On. But sell your first born to pay.
