Northwinds thread mentions Chrunchie, which i beleive to be the best-tasting chocolate/candy bar thing avaliable (it sustained me through a period of not eating much when i was scared i'd get food poisoning, about 8 years ago. What a plonker i was).
So What IS the best chocolate bar around? Also, skittles are the best sweet that isnt chocolate. I was banned from eating them as a young child, apparently the colourings drove me crazy... Matt |

I always prefered Marathons over Mars bars. But my favorite chocolate is Old Jamaica.
Sweets can't leave them alone. pigged out on 3 topic bars this afternoon hmmmm has to be jelly beans, proper ones not the cheap crap. Also love nugart

The Boost is by far the best bar, so many flavors and textures in such a little package...
As for the sweet, thats tough but I would opt for the fizzy laces (as I've just ate a pack) or Chocolate covered Raisins ummm |

Topic is the choccy bar for me, and close second is the big purple sweets in quality street (yes, i like hazelnuts).
Best non-choc sweet has to be wham bars (do they still make them?), i spent many a happy hour as child with my teeth welded together after i tried to eat the whole thing in one go! |

Does Toblerone count??? Its almost bar shaped and just a great sugar rush...
As for no-chocoalte it has to be Haribo Tangfastics... I'm a total addict, I've eaten 2Kg of them since christmas, the rifts are terrible... So's the hyperactivity...

The worst chocy bar is in America: "Hersheys". Lots of other absolutely rank stuff out here altogether.
Crunchies. Are Quality. Nuff said there really. Sustanance wise: Marathon ahem *Snickers* bars take some beating. But must be washed clear of the mouth fairly lively with a cup of tea or other. No idea what Texan bars are. But, I quite like... Double Deckers. Not bad. Here, were Boost those bars with the rock hard reef-your-teeth-out sort of caramel tube, covered in chocolate, with misc stuff in the middle? Whatever that bar was, it scared me. |
