That mean you have bought 4?
![]() You need to get jugs honed couple of thou to allow for greater expansion of forged. I do not think they add any power but they are lighter and while you're in there you can reduce head gasket thickness for higher CR

I will be doing it. If I ever get my crank back from the engineers.
As YC said the barrels will need to be honed out by about 2 thou. This shouldn't cost you to much. |

i just need to gain about 3 meters on a guy at the race track down the straight after keep over taking him on the brakes and it gets a little scary at times i have tried diffrent gearing and seem to have the best for the job. I have had the cams done at kent and flowed the head so just trying to think of what else i can do just to gain that bit extra i have only 2 pistons did buy a set of four but sold 2 on ebay for about a quid i think.

Failing that tightening the squish works very very well on the SV. ![]() |

yeah i understand running in faster i do not seem to wake up in race til about 3 laps in then battle back from about sixth the braking thing always seems to happen last lap last corner in a desperate attempt to nab second normally but being behind the other guy he just seems to have a tiny bit more on the straight
