Anyone in or nearby interested in a co co-buy? Happy to share the cost and use of this with someone/s. Hate paying £40 a time for tyre changes, albeit once a year. Also doing some track days next year so a cost effective solution for swapping on/off scrubs from time to time.
I know its unlikely but if I even knew 3 bikers near to me this would be worth the money. Surely I'm not the only one who hates paying for this job? |

What a muppet!!! Completely forgot to put the link - Tyre Change Package Co-buy
Yeah, last new set of tyres could have cost £40 (to fit) with my local. I negotiated this down to £25 with some other work included. |

You had to negotiate to get it down to £25? Dude, you need to go to a better place.

That implies travelling/taking the wheels with me. It's certainly not the cheapest place but I don't have a car and its around the corner so any other way would include the expense of getting there and back*.
*Should clarify, this is ride in ride out so includes taking off the wheels etc. Had a mobile tyre fitter come out and he charged £15 with wheels off but he's no longer in business. Last edited by Runako; 31-10-12 at 06:26 PM. |

Not sure if thats good for ride in ride out, its been a while since I've did that. However, the Squirrel Solution: Spare set of wheels.

£40? man they are lovin' you in all the wrong ways!
I know a place in Bristol that you could get your tyres changed and it would still cost you less than £40 in travel and time! As Squirrel said spare wheels are probably easier option and then maybe, just maybe a friendly folk could loan you a car so you can go further afield for tyre changing ![]() |

Car? You don't need one of them a wheel can easily be strapped to the back of a SV. Trust me on that.
