yup just one of those times you top it up on the passing. Another thing when i cleaned out the tank i couldnt believe how much fuel i took to get it above reserve. does anyone know the amount the tank still has when the rserve light comes on and what mileage to expect extra?

£9.97 for 65miles at £1.33 a littre

so about £1.50 a mile

That's good to hear, all these folks saying 10p a mile make me wonder if I'm riding it wrong as I am closer to 15p than 10p.

I average 10-11p / mile when riding progressively within legal speed limits +/- 10 mph

Fuelly.com tells me 1 mile on my SV costs 16.8p

Fuelly tells me mine is 9.8p/mile and averaging over 60 mpg, big rideouts help as the speeds usually drop and doing 200 miles with only one cold start also helps... Commuting drops it down to about 50mpg as theres lots of hills on my route, and plenty of B roads. It is quicker to go by car because I never go the direct route on the bike.

K3 Job c.v: Engine:remove/split/rebuild/refit. Replace:Gearbox,Fuel pump,Gaskets. Piston clean,rings. Overhaul:Throttle body,Injectors,Brakes,Forks. Remove/refit:Exhaust,Radiator,Oil cooler,Throttle,Air filter,Tank. Replace: Oil,Coolant,grease,brake hoses & bleed.
