service history has been good, regular oil plug an filter changes, cam chains are rattling like a good one now so will be doing them an the valve clearances. i have got to strip the engine any way as theres a whiny bearing in the gearbox well it has done over 55k.

if lucky! and bike/engine is looked after,as yours may have been, then 55k aint really that high a milage and should be capable of atleast twice that milage before problem occur

right well i have the engine out an stripped an found that the piston rings are shot an it was burning the oil, also the loss of power an vibration is due to front valve clearances.
can anyone point me in the direction of somewhere i can get them as dealers want 50 odd quid per piston.
cheers
Ben

CLICK ME

email zoran and ask him for a price delivered, inc price for any gaskets ect all from suzuki but was loads cheeper for me and only took a few days to turn up, ask him to put gift on the box so you dont get taxed (note if they go missing you wont be able to claim)

the suzuki price list comes up as about £50 for 2 pistons sets!
and if the piston rings are worn the chances are the bore is wore as well, and ive never herd of a vibration caused by valve clearances

well the valve clearances had gone tight on the front inlet meaning it had poor compression, thats what i was thinking but was hoping it could just be rings
