mail them back to say you have transferred the fees and are awaiting the paypal credit.

Anything with Western Union is a scam, just Google it

We had Mr Kalashnikov trying to buy a car from us all the way from the Ukraine

Another great clue is the use of English, it doesn't read correctly & use of words is strange.

Stinks of Google translation

Hi,
I have today completed the Western Union moneygram transfer, the final fees were £463.50 - unfortunately slightly higher due to the additional security required, however I'm happy to absorb the extra cost for the peace of mind that our transaction will go ahead smoothly.
I will send you the code to release the money, which may be drawn in either Euro or Dollars, your choice. In addition to the code, Your identity will be verified by a photo to be emailed to them by myself.
Please could you send me a photo of yourself, a good likeness with you holding a A4 size piece of paper with the words 'SV650.ORG' written on it so we both can be sure the transaction is genuine and relating to this sale.
In the meantime I will prepare the motorbike, draining fuel and oil as conditioned by our export regulations unless you request otherwise.

Best Regards, blah blah

Default Help with selling my Bike

That's one lazy scammer! At least when I got scammed by a Nigerian they went to the effort of forging a PayPal email!

That was all I needed to read to know it was a scam.

Having sold a bike recently I got sent a fair few of these emails. The first one I thought was genuine but by the time I got the second email from them I new it was a scam. I've tried stringing them along but they seam to be getting wiser to that and just stop replying which is disappointing. So to save my own time as I was getting lots of them at one point I would just reply "cash on collection only".

Eventually a genuine buyer emailed me a couple of questions, turned up with cash and left with a very nice bike. Its just a question of sticking it out through all time wasters.

Mate, censor your email address out too or you'll be getting more scam emails!
