I hit him on his front left quarter just behind the light. went over the front of the bike and over onto his bonnet and slid off the other side.

as far as i could work out the damage to the bike is that the whole front fairing is smashed as are lights and the front forks are well and truly bent. even at full right lock it moves left.

im fine, a bit of a sore back and some tight muscles in my legs. a good nights rest and im going to be right as rain.

i took his name, tel no., address, number plate, email, make and model and insurance company name as well as the best photos i could on my phone. got 1 witness with name and tel.

im insured with carol nash so anyones experiance anyone has with them is greatly apreciated

any info anyone else can give me would be greatly aprecciated.

thanks guys
Sorry to hear this dude, but glad your not too badly injured. Hope you recover soon!

When I've had my accidents before (particularly the one time when I turned right an an old lady overtook on my right hand side to "avoid" me - thats what she said!!!) Carol Nash where very sympathetic and helped me out alot, even offering me a courtesy bike! Since its clear here who the fault lies with, you should get a good pay-out from the insurance company.

Did anyone call the police? If not, tell them immediately.

Write down in detail what happened. Not just a few lines, I mean several pages. Get your witness to write doewn what happened too, if you can.
Yea, good point. Sometimes injuries dont surface until a while later; no harm in getting checked out!
