My SV is currently running with a nicely bodged on gear leaver from my CBR400.

Oh and go faster stripes on the seat (gaffer tape), soon to be sorted...

Its also ran with a bridged clutch switch for over a year. Also a shortened fuel hose when the other split (now corrected).

And how can I forget the zip ties holding my undertray on...

Just stuck an egg in the radiator of the car. I'll let you know if the buyer brings it back for overheating tomorrow night

My SV has:

1. Yellow mudguard (Rest is Candy Grand Blue)
2. White front wheel (Rear Silver)
3. Various broken/bodged panels
4. Purple clutch lever

All bodged together with chewing gum and sticky backed plastic!!

It will survive AR07!.................Possibly!

I once 'fixed' a missing link plate on a chain on a Bantam with a paperclip, only because the boy riding it didn't even realise it was missing, and I was a boy myself. No idea if he got home, but he was alive and well a few weeks later......

Exhaust fell off at the cylinder of my ancient AR125 - found a tea spoon amongst the debris at the side of the road, bent it into a hook to tie the pipework back onto the cylinder It was a tad noisy

Don't bodge bikes. I value my life.

Cars. I had a Marina where the rear leaf spring collapsed and used a pair of mole grips to hold it together for the 14 miles home avoiding every pot hole.

I had a capri where the accelerator cable snapped so used the choke cable to get home.
