Do you see the original radiator being a problem with the engine mods that you're looking at?

Not sure, there's plenty of people who say the standard rad is up to the job no matter what the state of tune. There's others who don't.

It's easier to manage over-cooling with a bit of tape on the rad than it is to manage overheating....

Besides, a standard radiator is boring and dull and naff and would let the rest of the bike down....

How long is the wheelbase on the bike? It looks really short. Could make it fairly nimble

You're eyes are playing tricks on you. That's a CBR1000RR swingarm which is a lot longer than an SV swingarm.

Wheelbase will be longer than standard, due to swingarm length so CoG will be further forward, putting more weight over the front wheel.

Must be just the way its sitting on the paddock stand, the front forks look really sharp and maybe the seat height accentuates the illusion. Its a nice build.

Road trip with the bike to deepest, darkest Hereford to see Matt Bennett at A H Fabrications has sorted the Pace radiator out with new top mounts, a brace at the bottom, fan mounts and a lower mounting boss.

Plus adding another catch bottle mount for the rad expansion bottle on the other side of the oil cooler Matt had previously made...

Also made a battery and reg/rec and relay/fuse mounting tray that doubles as the rad lower stay..

The finished article...

Then drove up to Stockport to pick this up from a mate....

This is the standard engine, well other than injected cams and thinner head gasket and lightened flywheel and ignition advancer I've got to hand, I'll use to get the bike on the road this summer whilst I build a more powerful engine at my leisure.

Great progress, keep the updates coming.

Question on the oil cooler... With it being mounted higher on the bike then standard and with further to send the oil, can the pump cope? I really have no idea about what sort of pressure and load the system can cope with so its a genuine question.

Also on the subject of the oil cooler is that the standard take off points? Its been a while since I've had an injection engine in the garage and it looks like an adapter to me.
