Hi
I tried to remove the right side fairing bracket, that's bolted onto the top head mount bolt and as much as i tried to be extra carefull as it was clearly corroded in, i snapped the bolt in the head. My question is, i can see another engine mount a few inches back which looks like it goes right through, but after un doing that i am assuming there is another at the rear of the motor and i was wondering would the motor drop forward enough without taking the rear mount out? I know i will have to remove rad air box exhaust, but was hoping i wouldnt have to remove engine completely! Cheers ![]() |

You can tip the engine forward a bit, but if its going to be enough to drill out this bolt or not I can't be sure. However there is a bolt in the middle that goes all the way through, plus one on the rear head similar to the front, and two at the rear/ lower of the engine. There are also engine mount adjuster bolts that can seize and help prevent movement in the engine.

Thanks squirrel_hunter , i will have to go through the process of removing the motor and see if it will pivot enough
