Just dont want to get banned that's all...so been staying out of idle banter...one or two threads getting my back up but must bite my tongue(or fingers as the case may be)...and the Glayva has not been opened yet. Might need to do that when I get home.

Didn't I read in the paper that one of the supermarkets own brands had come out tops in the single malts stakes--------------It was in the SUN so it must be true

Only problem they have is with the shelf life dating as it is 12years old before they start

Hadn't heard that about the supermarket own brand, one or two people on a whisky forum i frequent have said Tesco's is quite good & quite similar to Old Pultney, sort of coconutty & slight salty aftertaste.

Are you sure your talking about the same thing?
