Well that was a blast from the past , I laughed when I saw Sir clive Sinclair`s Red GSL Tracksuit , I had a navy one with silver sides on it in the 80`s

Argh! I watched it until 23.05 when I decided it was bedtime.

A good program which brought bak a few memories! My first computer was a zx81 then we upgraded to a Spectrum which came free with Horace Goes Skiing and Jet Set Willy, I recall.

A couple of the scenes were not quite correct in the timeline but it can be forgiven for such an excellent watch , it took me right back . My first computer was a VIC20 which died , Tandy gave me a "Replacement" which seemed to be the wrong colour when I got it home ......... Imagine my surprise when they had given me a CBM64 by accident and it wasn`t even supposed to be out for another 2 weeks . Result , although my C2n Datassette was a different colour from my 64

My mother was a teacher and borrowed the school's BBC Micro one summer. I spent the entire summer holidays playing Elite all day, every day.

For those of you who remember it, I could dock the ship manually every time and didn't bother with a docking computer. Later, we even fixed the bug (missing data files) which stopped you mining asteroids for minerals. That made it worth fitting a mining laser in the side window and learning to shoot sideways.

Saw the show and thought that it was a tad unkind about Sinclair, I do not recall him being that much of a nerd. Mind you, I still want a recumbent and technically, that is what the C4 was...

I also spent a long time on the BBC Micro and spent one summer playing on my cousins Spectrum. That kind of put me off games right up until Playstation released Resident Evil, when I got hooked again.

Great film though, Armstrong was brilliant as Sir Clive, making him look like a real sinister genius at times. You had to love him. Where is Sir Clive these days I wonder?
