Touch screen is good on the bike but big gloves make it a bit hard

i usually put a clear freezer bag over it, Keeps it dry and still allows the touch screen to work. Been to southampton and back in the pouring rain (1hr trip) no probs

Me thinks I will be going into an O2 shop in the next couple of days.

Cheers Viper.

Sat nav is cool and all instructions come through the blue tooth head set. Plus as a bonus the XDA answers calls itself after 3 rings so you can talk and ride
Got mine on o2 it cost £25.00 for the XDA and costs 22.50 per mth with 200 mins, 200 texts and 5mb surfing time.
Does it have built-in GPS or do you need an external bluetooth gps unit?

Edit: Just looked at the O2 website and, wow, https://shop.o2.co.uk/phone/O2/XDA_Orbit
I need a new phone as my P900 is dying.

Edit 2: Just ordered the XDA Orbit

Edit 3: Within less than 5 minutes of ordering, First Direct's credit card security team phoned to check the transaction. I guess that a lot of stolen credit cards are used to buy mobile phones.

I did have TomTom 6 working on my XDA until I messed it up (if someone wants to "sell" me a copy that would be great ) but it was really good. I did have to buy a bluetooth GPS receiver.....I paid £90 for mine from Navman, but you can get cheaper ones.

Finally decided & bought a PDA , It's only a low end (cheap) model , a Acer N35 ( 99quid +Vat)
It is installed with Navigator 5 which works well .
Currently using in a tank bag , however would like to get a handlebar mount .
Any one recommend a PDA holder that will fit a faired pointy ?
Any one get any photo's ?
Any one regulary use a PDA on the SV?

Only 1 downer so far , shows that the SV speedo over reads by 10 %

Cheers Steve

I wouldn't worry too much Steve, my last two cars have both over read by about 10% (maybe a tad less) and I'm prety sure the same is true for most bikes. My SV pointy did the same. I checked it using a Garmin e-trex which tells speed. Not a sat nav though, just a GPS, handy for walking. Need to check my current bike though.
