You shouldnt need to faff about with the brake pipe side. Should be two bolts that were holding the chain guard on and then by the shock is a little piece of plastic that stops mud being thrown onto the shock, theres a bolt in there that you'll need to undo as well, the hugger wont fit flush with that in the way... Doh beaten to it, by Biker Billy !!
