How do you know what part of map lambda adjusts?
Who says it adjusts any part of on throttle map and not just steady state cruise and/or tickover?

Too right, mine sounds bloody ace at full chat! And with the other system it was shooting flames near a foot long on the rev limiter and overrun

I don't but I'd still give it a try. It'll adjust more than nothing at all and I wouldn't expect it to run so lean that it'll explode.

Non of the Suzukis run a closed loop lambda system like cars so they wont self adjust.

TBH every bike even stock would benefit from a remap as the maps downloaded into the ecu from the factory are just generic. As engines run in and as no two injectors will flow exactly the same gains can be had.

Always worth sticking it onto a dyno for an air fuel run to check at least.
