I might be playing catch up by the time we get to it...lol. I feel like part of the bike already. I have a HUGE amount of skill to learn yet, but I feel pretty comfortable in just the few times I have gone out. The 400 is such an easy bike to ride. If I'm making progress and the bend tightens up, it will just dip in even by just thinking it.

In fact, my mission going out today was to not go as fast as I did yesterday and Saturday or lean the bike over as much, but to try on the open and traffic free bits of road to see how my body position and weight of my feet on the pegs would help me in the corners...it's bloody amazing.

I ended up finding the most incredible road and considering until 6 weeks ago, I had lived only a few miles away from it I cannot believe we missed it. I ended up having one of those rides that I hear people talk about all the time.....where everything just goes right and I was nailing it around some of the bends and it just felt amazing. I got loads of overtaking practise in today as well which I'm pleased about but I'll never want to be like some people when it comes to that. One nob passed me and was flitting past a line of cars one by one, having to grab a load of front brake everytime. He didn't look like a good rider....he looked like an didiot that was dicing with death. After grabbing the front brake myself on Saturday, I do not want to go for overtakes that would mean me having t take such evasive action. I think I'll always like to have a safety buffer.

Now that I can do motorways, we'll have to come over to Aber and meet up with you for a ride!

Not yet there's not, but if you do a search for the 'Welsh TT' you'll get the idea

We've tried to change as little as possible but at the same time have to accomodate literally 8-10 times more bikes than it was initially intended for

Yep.....there'll be a locked thread about this nearer the time. Even Hovis said he was only going to have two or three on the Friday and not drink after 10pm.....he wanted to be in top form so he could make it the best weekend for everyone.

The answer is simple - ask Bear to give the pre-ride brief; I think he made it quite clear at AR09 what he would do to anyone riding 'under the influence' !! :D

Hey, stay wherever you like Bill......in the tent it will be Stretchie and I, MilkyBarKid and you. Might leave the dogs at the kennels so that we don't have to worry about them.

Also, last year they were so knackered from having a ball or stick thrown by various people pretty much 18 hours a day...that they didn't even WANT to go for a walk for 3 days after getting home. I'd get the leads and they'd go back to sleep...lol

Well, we need a dog sitter for the Saturday then. Maybe we can find a kennel close by to just have them on the Saturday day and night???

The only people I would trust them with in the day would be me and Dan obviously, Squirrel_Hunter, MBK and Saxo as they are the people that know the dogs well enough and the dogs know them well enough. We don't trust Stig with people and don't trust Hollie with other dogs. Having a pack of four is very different than controlling one or two!
