I've been meaning to post something, but have been having trouble finding something suitable (which surprises me a little!)

Some of my favourite photographers are street photographers. Trent Parke, Leonard Freed, Robert Frank.

It's quite hard, as there are lots of photos I'd like to take, but haven't had time ... but I've found one from last month which I think fits.

Lol! I had to go back to the picture to see what you'd spotted Mike. Tbh when I took it I wasn't focused on anything in particular, although that bloody stuffed toy soon got my attention once Mabel saw it and was trying to back underneath my seat!

I have been trying, honest, but it turns out I'm not that good/keen on street photography. Last weekend there were lots of folk at a pavement cafe which would have made a perfect shot but I only had my phone with me and even though I wandered past them several times I did not get anything that worked. Will try again.

Doesn’t have to be street photography Trev, watching the world go by could be anything happening in the world from a spectator’s point of view. My example was just where I happened to by at the time I thought of the topic.

Admit it, you're all terrified by my hoooooge prawn. This was the first picture that my now wife saw of me. And you know what, someone turned that into a meme, thankfully it didn't spread very far.

Sorry guys, my photo mojo is never up to much in the dingy months. I have a ticket for the Photography Show in a few weeks time and may well treat myself to some new kit that will inspire me to get out and snap a bit more. Watch this space.

My intention was to take a pic from the top floor landing at work (5 stories up) as the view over the fields of Oxfordshire means you get a great cloud panorama as you can see for miles. Unfortunately we all got sent home and it's no longer acceptable to wander about with a camera...

I think recent events / situation has made it difficult. Maybe start afresh with an easy, open theme? Something like "home" might be appropriate and easy enough for everyone?
