This year a couple of good mates did some racing with EMRA, I turned up to their first pre-season practice and it rained hard. Between helping with wheels and tyre warmers I managed to grab this shot after one of the sessions. Summed up a brilliant day.

Morning all, not been in the photo section for a week or so so not noticed suggestions my picture should be a little bigger, I've put a larger one up in it's place in the main photo thread. Thank you for your kind comments

One of my favorite roads near home. Lucky shot as I was just snapping pics as the bike went through the bends.
I can almost feel the grip of the tyres when I look at the pic.

L3nny - that is an awesome photo :D
Guys
I didn’t take this picture but it fits the spec beautifully and seeing as they are about to be cut up for scrap, I thought I’d post it for nostalgia. Please don’t include in the voting and feel free to move if you want. It’s a Nimrod MRA4. This is ( was ) the first production aircraft. One of five that have already flown but all have to be cut up by next April because we can’t afford the capability.

Well here we go again and the opening theme for 2011 shall be, as per thread title, Motion. Being able to imply movement in a "frozen" frame is one of the most powerful things you can do with a photograph, so gentlemen start your cameras and show us some motion.
Ladies welcome too? ;)

You know what they say, the grass is always greener....
The surrounding area is quite beautiful too, with lots of other great roads, but there is no other road anywhere quite like the dragon.
318 turns in 11 miles. Lots of elevation changes, banking, even off camber turns. If you come to ride in the US this is the place. Some of the best roads in the world.
However tis' a wee small area that one could ride all of in a matter of 2 or 3 days, compared to the good roads that make up nearly all of Wales.

Scotland.
I've heard there was much good riding to be had in Scotland but never been there myself.
Definately on my list though.
Bill: you go out of the AR11 site and turn left... and then it gets difficult. You can either take the M6 straight into Scotland, or do it when you're bored with the Lake District.
