Watch out - Volvo in East Sussex. - SV650.org

This was posted by a friend of mine on Facebook. So anyone in that area please keep a lookout for them & avoid!!

Word of CAUTION to any bikers in/around Eastbourne or East Sussex area!

If you happen to spot a Mettalic Gold Volvo 4x4, blacked out windows, (Part reg is XC10...) Driver is dark skinned as is the passenger/s. PLEASE give it a wide birth as the driver may have a grudge against bikers and will try and force you off your bike or cause an accident!

I followed this MORON along the A27 leading from Just after Firle Place to Drusillas roudabout and he kept on speeding up and slowing down NO traffic in front of him either??, Apparently he may of been trying to either bring me off as well as another biker or cause me/us to go into the back of his vehicle! As I tried to commit to overtake said vehicle just after Drusilla's he sped up and would not allow me past even though the road was clear for me to do so, AND said driver thought it was funny as he was LAUGHING as I tried to get past him! If you see this vehicle and it happens to have the XC10 as the first part of the reg be warned he thinks it funny to put a bikers life at risk by pulling this kind of stunt for his own AMUSEMENT!!!!

Have you reported this to the Police

Even with a partial reg they can narrow it down, as you've got the make, type of vehicle & colour

Is it a properly legit report? You do get a lot of urban legends doing the rounds that sound like this...

If it is legit, must be a low-powered bike to not be able to get past an XC90. Even an SV should do it comfortably.

It sure is, as I spoke to him yesterday. He was riding with another from his MCC. He rides a Fatboy so not the best bike to overtake with at higher speed.

They didn't report it to the Police as I'm pretty sure the local MC have made a note of it & will not tolerate that sort of thing in their area.

Ha - expect they'll be able to sort an appropriate response. As long as they make sure they get the right one of course - wouldn't want some terrified housewife getting chain-whipped by the cast of Sons of Anarchy.

Wasn't doubting your pal - it's just a lot of similar stories do the rounds on social media and people cut and paste them over and over again. Seen a few on here before.

I can safely say that there's no office workers there, & the last thing they would do is contact the police lol. They're one of the oldest back patch clubs in the UK.
