That's a Stebel, the same company as makes the "Nautilus" which was discussed a while back. The Nautilus is a unitised airhorn, but is a touch on the large side. That one seems to be a good compromise when space is limited.

There are instructions to fit FIAMM horns to a curvy on the main site.
http://www.sv650.org/docs/FIAMM%20DU...C%20HORNS2.doc It's a piece of pi.... and they are sooo much better than standard, even lorry drivers can hear them!

I just picked up a par of the curled-up FIAMMs the other day, not fitted them yet though. Which means I've got a Stobel Nautilus sat in the garage, I couldn't find anywhere good to fit it to my curvy but I'm told they fit a charm on the K3> bikes... Plug plug.

BTW, the FIAMMs are available from Halfords now, repackaged under the Ring brand.

ermmm, has anyone tried fitting FIAMs to the main circuit?

I ask because the horns' only on for a couple of seconds at a time - surely not long enough to overheat the wires.

And if the fuse is the problem, that can always be uprated in the fuse box.

Oh, for comparison, does anyone know how many Db the standard horn is for comparison? I see the Magnum is 136, according to Google the FIAMMS are 135. Remember 3Db means twice as loud, so if the figures are accurate, a couple of Db makes a big difference.

Not sure. The FIAMMs and the nautilus are both painfully loud in an enclosed garage, I can say that for sure- you feel like you've just been tangoed
