To get mine onto axle stands under the pegs, I push it over on the side-stand and get the right hand one underneath, then slowly jack up the left with a bottle jack and put that axle stand in. If Lily can help you a trolley jack under the engine on the SV will lift the whole bike level, but it's not very stable so it does help to have a second person holding the bike upright. Don't know on the 955. Let me know if you need either bottle jack, trolley jack or axle stands and I'll drop them off in the morning.

Cheers for the offer ralph. Got axle stands and have a car jack. So think i will be all set. Just hate the fact i will be leaving it like that for a few hours. Lol.

AFAIK its a temp repair, we had a customer the other day who phoned up and said that the AA had plugged his tyre and that he was told he needed a new tyre, this tyre had only done 1000 or so miles and had about 4mm tread left.

I think the AA plug it from the outside, whereas when you take it to a tyre place to get it plugged they do it from the inside
