Unfortunately I went nowehere. Literally. Got made redundant and had very little cash to do anything other than figure out how the hell I was going to afford the mortgage payments. 8 weeks later I finally have a break and got a temp job until October. Gives me some more time to look but man it's tough out there. One job i went for had 1'500 applicants and it wasa ****ty job. I must have applied for 600 jobs and only got 2 interviews, the last one being the job I got. The pay is the same as the job I had about 9 years ago as well. but money is money at the end of the day.
I was so close to having to sell the bike to make sure I could pay the mortgage for another 3 months but thankfully that is now on hold. Still, need to be careful.
I can honestly say the past 8 weeks have been the worst of my life. Let's hope things are on the up!
Glad you managed to get something albeit temporary, it really tough at the min. Hang in there Dan - hope you find something permanent soon
hey dan, we missed you at the tvsf camping trip

Yep you sure picked the wrong breed of dog for pulling. Needed Sam there
Not sure who I told about my flight woes over Christmas. But just wanted to set the record straight that EasyJet stuck by their word and refunded everything I claimed for - the Air France flight & transport to & from the airport again (over £350 for a £75 easyjet flight that got cancelled)
