That looks very empty Col. It definitely needs another bike there!
I still have this Gary. It's my boss's CR250 Red Rocket. Just waiting for the refurbished wheels to be returned.

Rather hidden away in the Adventure section of the Honda website. I quite like it too and it's a refreshingly different kind of bike that takes a bit of guts to produce I think.

Nice start Mav. You do realise that it becomes adictive & you'll want better & better equipment ;)

True Col, but like you I'll find it on gumtree or shpock at a keen price.

Quite happy with my £60 outlay so far

I sometimes steer our customers to camerajungle.co.uk especially if they're on a tight budget. Some of the stuff we get for trade-in looks like new and it all gets sent to the above site

Mr C is quite right about the upgrades which is why I'm on the MPB mailing list and peek in at Camera Jungle every now and then too. Ideally I'd like a 6D mk2 and 24-105 f4 Lmk2 but not at new prices... Even (close your ears John) Panamoz prices are more than I can justify.

I think my D5200 came from Camera Jungle. Was the best price I found, had a shutter count of 1500 and a year's warranty.

I always mention the 12 months warranty. I had a young lad in a couple of weeks ago who wanted to trade in a 400d. It was only worth about £15. We talked about a replacement which led to the 700d. We no longer stock this new so showed him camera jungle where there were a few to choose from. He did the trade-in with them and had his 700d a couple of days later. No sale for us, but a happy customer who then bought a new bag and some other bits from us.

Some of the lads from my store went down to their depot last year to help process incoming stock. They were quite surprised at the low shutter count on some of the top end cameras, hardly used.

Bullseye. Bit of an odd one this. It is a very rare 1929 fireless engine, used in factories where sparks would be dangerous. It was "charged" with steam at its shed and had to return frequently to top up. You sometimes see locos on preserved sites running short distances that have been converted to compressed air - same basic principle.

The story behind Bullseye is here (http://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/news/local-news/rusty-steam-train-field-blaby-302166). Wishfull thinking probably but an interesting sight as you whizz along towards Leicester on the A426.

Had a couple of days away in Scotland. This in Inveraray town and castle on the shore of Loch Fyne.

It's got a river, it's got a castle, it's got mountains and it's got a perfectly mowed lawn... that's a good photo.

Could almost be something out of Shrek.
