That's me on my pushbike in the distance Richie ;)
A very nice stark B&W winter shot, the road markings accentuate the shot nicely IMHO

One from a wander about yesterday in HW. This is the Chilterns Shopping Centre, which is now half empty since the way more trendy Eden Shopping Centre opened. It has a weirdly tiered ceiling which catches and reflects the light. The rest of it is dull as heck to even it out.

That's a handsome pickup. What is it?
It's 1953 Chevrolet .
Very nicely done, it looks classic but far from original .
Most of the chrome bits, the glossy paint and whitewall tyres were not available on pickups in the 50's.
They were considered to be strictly work vehicles until the 1970,s.
Cheers Everyone :)

It's my first one in 6 years (missus became a teacher so couldn't afford school holiday prices) so yeah I know what that feels like! I'll be sure to take some more to give you encouragement...
We are in Chamonix Mont Blanc.
Looks like we got a bit lucky, though it did take us 4 hours longer than expected, 16hours door to door is a long old drive! Was glad we came in my impreza when we got close to resort, 4wd was a god send!

Enjoy the fresh new snow!
One of my best skiing holidays was at Val d'isere, although not the cheapest.
John, I like the Falcon.... I've been playing today as well :)

Yeah Val d'isere definitely not the cheapest, think my favourite so far is Les Arcs

Some good shots.
Its almost done for another year, although we've not been so strict on posting up a picture every day, like the very first year, its still been a regular thread to post to.
So with 2015 on the horizon, its going to be time to start the 2015 thread. If you've got any ideas to keep it fresh & exciting then have your say here, without impinging on the Photo of the month thread.

Cogenerator plant in the rain.
Mountains of smoking (steaming actually) wood chips make it look like the gates of hell.

Took the mountain bike over to the Viking Trail at Tunstall Forest. Never done it before. 10 miles of muddy fun!

Excellent, I keep meaning to do that ride, but I'm having lots of fun on local trails.

Right, here's a load to make up for my lack of posts recently, it really was a nice afternoon for a walk on the beach.
