Here's mine for today. We are undertaking a major re-hang in the Pavilion so my manager is stressed and we look like we've been invaded by mime artists.

I usually copy the bb link and just paste it in. Don't use the picture insert icon.

In your post, you can see my photo, but it doesn't appear in my post?

Used to go into my Flickr, click once on the photo, then clicked on it again, which then gave me the option of what size image to use. Clicked on the image size & copied the URL & used the insert picture.

On Flickr I don't get that option now, each click on the picture just scrolls to the next photo in the album

If you are getting flickrs new design (or even the old one) using the share button is easiest. It fills in the BBCode as admin says.
http://i.imgur.com/auxn5v3.png
Click the share button then click the pushpin
On the old one it was share link then HTML\bbcode towards the bottom of the popup.

Just above the link you can choose the size. IIRC "large" is 1024 which seems a nice compromise between enough size to properly show off a picture and not take up too much bandwidth/screen space.

Ouch mav, you are posting so guessing the damage is superficial enough to not mean hospital and such. Mend quickly my friend!

Woke up over the weekend with the sudden urge to buy a nice quality pen and mechanical pencil to carry with me (EDC, Every Day Carry) and a pocketable notebook.... This is quite a thing for a geek like myself!

Lots of research and debating later lead me to the metal version of a cheap pen I carry at the moment, Pilot G2.
Mechanical pencil was a lot more complex, did I want it for writing, drawing, drafting... Well in reality, doodling! I can't draw and have little vision but wanted something I could doodle with and then had to select lead thickness, features etc.
Ended up wangling a Pilot G2 Limited in dark grey for my pen and Ohto ProMecha 1500 for the pencil (WAY overkill but I wanted a sturdy one that I could carry without damage and that retracted the pipe so I don't poke holes in stuff)
They arrived today :-)

http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/03/29/tuqysa5y.jpg

And my first doodle, inspired by Twin Atlantic's - We Want Better Man:
http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/03/29/menetene.jpg

Rather enjoyable 10-15 mins in the hammock, I could get used to this.

Ah thank you. I'm no expert on flowers, I looked at the info board in the car park and that whole area was marked out as primroses though I did think they were too white and spikey. I managed to get the woodpecker to come really close by knocking on a tree and making him think he had a rival. Once he realised he'd been fooled he flounced off in a flappy huff.

It's worth the wait, if you get the planes coming through. Apparently, sometimes, you can wait all day & nothing happens, we were told that we were lucky yesterday. The walk up the hill is a killer. This was taken from half way up, you can just make people out at the top, but it's well worth it seeing a jet fly below you.

Not quite such a hike for me today (I also feel like a trip to the loop one day). Wycombe district council have done one nice thing - they have planted swathes of daffs in the park at the bottom of my road and they're all in flower right now. Light was nice so I wandered over for a few snaps.

So you get to look at funny little valves and I get to try what the chefs have been cooking up?

Tomorrow I have to spend the morning at a gym photographing the fit handsome young cricketers trying out a new fitness regime and then the afternoon looking after Ricky Ponting while he films a feature with Sky, before eating some cake and then watching Chris8886 pretend to be Kevin Pietersen in the nets.

Actually it is quite common to see a new or nice car parked diagonally parked across two or three bays so no one can park next to them and open a door against it.

Just got back from a couple of days in St Albans. Not far from home but an excuse to stay in an interesting old coaching inn, eat and drink too much, and walk it all off again exploring the cathedral and fascinating Roman sites.

The High Alter of the cathedral was covered in wonderful carved figures, replaced after the vandalism of the reformation. Not all of them are monarchical or ecclesiastical which was nice. So, I give you the great chronicler of the day, the Venerable Bede.

Wow that last shot is a stunner mav! Mine for today, bit of a change of scale for me, took this into work after purchasing at the gadget show live yesterday :-)

Everyone was impressed, very fun little toy.

Oh and this is a little hard to make out but an indoor sucker dart crossbow :-) 12m range and also super fun.

Window with target on, some darts and the crossbow hanging from the window latch.

Hah I've got to embrace my geeky side :-) plus when the guy said this quad copter was only £25 it'd have been rude to leave it there, all 4 of the group I went with bought one!

Although waking up and checking the thread to see full screen manic Richie was a shock at this time in the morning, nice shot though Richie! Loving your commitment to the art.

The BP family had a day out at Dunham Massey yesterday and I found my first bluebells of the year. Glad to see them, it means summer's on the way!

This is a memorial to the 282 Soldiers who were treated at The Stamford Military Hospital during World War One. One block of concrete for each man, numbered 1 to 281 with one left blank for a Soldier whose name wasn't known.

Stamford Military Hospital is more commonly known as Dunham Massey, near Altrincham.
