Don't know about Cidre but kopparberg elderflower is mingin!
It was about time I replaced my cheapo paddock stands that I've had for about 10 years so I just ordered an Abba fitting kit for the dorso and the "front lift arm". I've ordered some new tyres which I should be getting fitted on Friday, then it's play time! :D

new spaznav time me thinks... had this one 4+ years so no shame in it but i need a map update and its the same price as a new spaznav with lifetime maps. i waterproofed the one i have at the moment and its lasted all this time out on the bike in some serious weather, i also left it out in the rain for a few days at it still worked with no problems. just hope that when i waterproof the new one it lasts as long as this one which i have abused no end.
old one is Garmin Nuvi 1410 and i'm looking at the 55LM as the replacement. no i'm not buying an overpriced bike specific one when i can waterproof a car one. lets just hope that the new one is compatible with tyre.
Geodude
27-05-16, 04:47 PM
Never mind tyre, lets hope the new one is compatible with Bibs ;)
Never mind tyre, lets hope the new one is compatible with Bibs ;)
nothing is bibs proof  the spaznavs are fine its my brain that dont work :D
got the new spaznav today 55LM. a lot quicker in use and it works with tyre :) bit weird how it does things but i'll get used to it. display also not as bright as the old one.. oohh well.
now to waterproof it.

confusion... dont worry about it :-)
hhmmm... i have a proper charging cable for spaznavs installed on the bike but i got the message. ''this cable is not compatible with your device. please use the cable provided'' ermmm what... are garmin trying to re-write how USB works.

andrewsmith
30-05-16, 04:15 PM
It'll work. Mine it that with my car charger
Sent from my E2303 using Tapatalk
i think i will, just throws up a warning. seems to charge from the USB on the computer so there is no reason that it should not charge from the USB on the bike.
new charger cable needed :-(
throws up a red battery charging status.
andrewsmith
30-05-16, 05:54 PM
Have you updated it?
Sent from my E2303 using Tapatalk
yes. connection to the computer is no problem including charging.
i have solutions. 1.just plug the car charger into the fag socket as its right below it (PITA as i would have to carry the charger everywhere as well). 2.i have two car chargers so i could dismantle one of them and put it in a potting box i have and add a cable to my gizmo.
new spaznav is superb when turning on/off via ignition. new one goes straight to 'agree' screen then when agreed it goes straight to map with route, it takes seconds. the old one took a good 30sec or so to get the map up via pressing 3 buttons. so new one much much faster :-)

as much as i love my SV i want a change. MT-09 is same weight but faster for overtaking.
