not a big fan of god, but i'm off to pray for some dry roads tomoz so i can scrub my first ever set of new tyres in nice conditions, feel free to add to my prayers. lol
i'm not bending over anywhere near you. lol
but i must say i hope you get some nice dry weather to.
btw what tyres did you get?
TheOnlyNemesis
13-02-10, 01:24 AM
Avon storms which i'm sure will be fine but just a lil nervous as never scrubbed in before and don't like doing things for a first time
pppfffttt, avon storms rock full stop. dont be worried my friend those tyres stick to the road like sh!te on a blanket. even the supposed scrub in on these tyres is just plain bonkers. i dont care what anyone says avon storms work very very well on the pointy sv. the only thing i came across that the storms never liked was 'damp slippy' conditions, where its not raining but not drizzle its 'damp and slippy'. but no tyre i have ever come across likes those conditions.
when scrubbing in tyres just 'lean' a little more each time, dont go trying to take them to the edge straight away in this cold weather. dont be nervous if you feel them 'squirm' under you its perfectly normal and will go away the more you ride/lean. biggest thing is check your pressures before you go out.

So where are you going for a ride?
No where, finally got myself ready was gonna just go for a ride around the outskirts of bristol to get them scrubbed in one day and now can't. Some monkey at protyre messed up the order by ordering Avon storms instead of Avon Storms 2 and they also bought a 160/70 rear tyre so now i gotta wait till next saturday again. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Some people deal with it that way. Especially if its the circumstance they can't deal with. They almost lock it away at the back of their mind.

13-02-10, 03:16 PM
