Now I am out on my own I'm sinking slightly.
Motorcycle run for charity do we need insurance for public liability or do we not bother?
if we need it who do we get it from considering we have no idea of numbers?

Everything else is sorted - just waiting for our 28 days to pass - and thats because we are applying for a rolling road block in the centre of town. Nobodies mentioned it and now worried about the if someone was to have an accident and hit a spectator we could be held liable.

I suspect that you probbly do.

Depends are you just organising a rideout like a normal org one. Or is it more official, if its more offical and you are taking money on behalf of a charity I'd suspect you need the insurance cover.

I'd go get some proper legal advice though rather than leaving it to chance.

See that what i think as we will be collecting money on behalf of Yorkhill ( dig deep you lot) with all the official paperwork and stuff needin submitted.
Our prob is that the charity has insurance but not sure if we're covered by that as Abigail ( i know another one) is not too sure and the other guy is on holiday.
Right I'm off looking for legal advice - with a runny nose and sounding horrendous.

See confused myself for onceAll the bikes should be legal, therefore insured taxed etc. As long as you make it known that everyone takes part at thier own risk, i think that should cover it at things like that.
