I just got back from Knockhill! done over 300 miles today and thats is like 3 times longer than I have ever gone on the bike!!:D:takeabow:

I'm sitting in a nice 23'c office with a breeze from the AC vent above my head hitting my neck!
And why when people say they will call they never do!
ohhhhhh I would love AC. Sadly people not calling is something I have to put up with regularly here, i think it is a portuguese thing to not return calls or do what they say they will do!
Drew said that when he went over, that when they say tomorrow it actually means whenever! And you need to slow life right down
yeh life moves at a very different pace here, but to be honest I dont mind that. Its the telling you one thing and not doing it, or not turning up on time .. that kind of thing that drives me wild living here day to day.
It makes job finding so hard.

Manana is what Al (Best mate) said they use. Unlike Spain where it means tommorow, he says that it means in Portuguese - Later, or whenever etc.
I do quite like the pace of life there, but I know it would infuriate me after a while, I'm too organised!!!

The pace of life has obviously to do with the weather, you cant do everything at UK pace when it is this hot. Equally though in business people have two speeds here, stop, fast, there is no middle ground from what I can see.
Day to day though it doesnt really bother me, it is only when looking for a job.
Its been a year now and I can honestly say that I have had a lot of frustrations, I havent been out of work since I was 14 and suddenly finding that not being able to get a job has been an incredibly hard ride for me.

my mother in law tried to kill me on saturday (forgot to say) before I tell you how remember I have a lactose problem so stay away from most dairy like cream, cheese, milk etc.

Q- the only thing I would say is that couriers NEVER look after bikes and nearly always have had an off of some sort. Double check details with them. "In the descriptions of the bikes/cars,we try to put the INSURANCE category,C/D/clear clear is obviously not recorded"

I can't afford it and nether can WTTS seeing as we are just starting (don't ask what WTTS stand for I want it changed)
Chris would like us to do our own bikes to start with but that means doing that to mine which i don't really fancy at the mo unless I get extra fairings.
A marked bike would be ideal especially as we can then get fundraising and stuff - Ideally we need green but thats not a big problem/.
Anna - i know what you mean but this will be like an emergency vehicle and serviced withou regards and yes I need to ensure its running - I think I just want to do anything except use Kevin

Got my new small naked radiator on. Keep filling it up, taking it for a run, then it still wants more coolant! Thirsty bugger. I'll need to take it for another run tomorrow.
Something I don't understand... what the hell is the point in the extra plastic tank? :confused:
I thought it was incase the radiator didn't have enough, it would sup a bit from the tank. But when I came back from the first run, the radiator was half empty and the plastic tank was still sitting full. What good is that?

I hadnt got it by the time i came to work, but we have the lasiest postman ever. Lucky if we get post before midday. Got some at 7 on Friday but he wasnt our regular postman!

Hmmm, Looking like my attendance at the AR is looking dodgy. Just done a route planner 183 miles and about 4 hours (inc fuel n food stop) after work on a Friday! Looking doubtful. Done that route once, but that was when i finished at 4.30 and i got to Hay about 830 ish! Shame. I cant get the Friday off which is the problem.

Thats direct from work and cant finish early or anything. Its peak Holiday season for work so i can not get any cover. I will see how i feel nearer the time. Just a 183 mile 'commute' is a bit hard core for my aching bones!
what if I said we will have a pint ready for you.... and I'll help you put up your tent?
