bugger off!
Love you. X
2nd jig of the day drew, should have seen me reverse a transit into a space which was about 4 feet bigger than the length of the van... in first time, 2 street cleaners watching me and everything... one of them even did an "impressed face" as we made eye contact so I just shouted "BOOM!" and walked off :)
:D
Was that in a CSI New York kinda way? :D

You see, I think it that Miami is becoming too cheesy. Has there ever been a CSI poll on the org as to which is best? lol
Top o the morning to you all!
happy paddy day!
must call my family and wish them it!
It had to be done my dear
Happy St Pat's Day to you all!!!
and double hugs seeing as I wasn't around yesterday!! ( I like having fun!)
Can I see pictures of the photo call?! Was it good to be back on the bike?!
Once I get them Lily I send them to you!! Don't think I'll make it in esp when you up against the Rockettes ( galsgow Rock's cheereladers) and Papa Joe. But i t was good to be there and meeting with Frank the Facilities man so everything is going ahead (despite complications again from Strathclyde) It was fun esp rush hour in Glasgow I forgot how much fun filtering is!!
thats twice this week and then again, possibly for the bike show this weekend.
Quite glad to be a biker as one stopped to help lift a tv into the flat for us ( can't afford a flast screen esp as the F/Freezer packed up to). He only stopped because I still had my leathers and Hi-Vis stuff on. so there's another mate made. Faith in Humand nature restored and cemented the fact that the majority of bikers are good sticks ( the minority will not be spoken about)
You see, I think it that Miami is becoming too cheesy. Has there ever been a CSI poll on the org as to which is best? lolThats the best thing about it, oh and Eva Laurie :) Miami is the bast and always will be, purley for the over acting, over the top colours and of course the legend that is David Caruso

Go shopping at my local farm shop....you can buy these little whole corn cobs in yellow or deep red and you just put the whole cob in a bag in the microwave and watch all the kernels pop off. My nieces LOVED them and I'm almost tempted to get a microwave just so I can do some too...lol.
Anyway...MORNING, just!
Anything, its a virtual world

Mine broke a month after Stretchie moved in two years ago. Just never really needed one so haven't bothered. The only thing I miss is heating up leftovers, but because I now have to do that on the hob or in the oven...I can make sure it stays nice or add things.
i need clothes so can we go clothes shopping please

Oh Lily....they are gorgeous. I had a pair almost identical when Stig was a pup and my pathetic EX decided they would be better for him to chew on than his trainers, so left them in the kitchen thinking they were a cheapo pair from asda or matalan where I normally buy stuff. What he didn't know is that I'd bought them when I was still earning big. I actually cried when I got home and saw them in bits. Not so much for the sandals but because I realised I had a tw4t fr a boyfriend. I didn't even tell him because I knew if I did, he'd have given Stig one hell of a hiding....so I just got a cheapo pair from some online store and told Pete I spilled ribena on them. :-(
Can't afford them so will buy a cheapo pair to go with my dress.
What you after T?

T- there's no better reason to need a new wardrobe than by getting yourself back to a shape you are happy with. God knows I need to do something again. I know I can do it...done it before, but I'm just not finding the motivation at the moment.
Well done you. Lets have a massive virtual shopalong one day!
Q.... entertain!
ok want to see me lose the rag!! Cos i'm going to any minute with GCC. they've taken umbridge that the Egg run supporters may not like what they are doing to the run and dare to speak up and challenge their decision. GCC are not happy bunnies and hehehehehehe serves them right.
They are trying to get us to gag our fans - as if we can tell them what not to say!!
I'm up for the virual shopping day

Q - sometimes it's good to just sit back and let the chaos reign!
T - I have started....done three hours on the cross trainer yesterday and today, but will have to wait til the weekend now as I have my CBT tomorrow....more training on Friday, then 500cc training Monday and my Mod 1 on Tuesday......just typing it makes me feel tired...lol
V- basically we got shafted for the Egg run we're organisng for Yorkhill. Gcc said yes than at a finalising meeting they changed the route and the start date and everything else with a cavaet of this way or no way.
The poo an dfan interface has happened because one of the bikers doesn't agree with how we have been treated and is writing to everyone mp/cllr/msp's to get the original route re instated.
GCC are kacking themselves a sthey need to stay squeaky clean after one the admin has resigned over rent boys and cocaine allegations ( all alledged!!)
there is a veilled threat about his years parade and we're being asked to write comments on our facebooks to help them retain their image - when they sh** on us - excuse the french I have no other words for it at the moment.

Wow.....Q. Sounds like you have been dealing with a proper "no win" situation. How dare they ask you to put status updates on your facebook profiles though......they should never expect to encroach upon your private life in that way. I can understand restrictions on activities that may bring a company into disrepute etc...but to involve facebook......sounds seriously ridiculous to me. Their image is their responsibility!

WOW I didn't know it was all that soon! You will be on that Honda before the end of the month
GG - 3hrs on the cross trainer!!! I do 15mins before I get bored. as
For chaos - I can't stop people voicing their opinion - let GCC do their own PR clean up - the guy has said nothing that was wrong according to YEER. Wrong according to GCC but thats becasue they got it wrong to start with and its their fault that its been blown to epic proportions - hhehehehehehehehehe
YEER has it own facebook group where we have been posting the updates on the route and stuff. The major prob started when we got told by phone that the route had its 28 notice and everything was fine and that written confirmation will be sent out 7 days prior to event. What would you think? Would you expect to go into a meeting 5 days later and negotiate the route ( well accept the route they want) and expect major changes to happen

That's the plan. The hill that the new house is on is stupid steep so I want to get as many riding days under my belt as I can before the move. Hopefully, I'll be fully legal by end of next week. Dan is taking the CBR into Devizes tomorrow to be serviced, MOT'd and have new tyres and then hopefully he can get the suspension done asap too so I can pass and get straight out practising. Luckily....we've got a load of brilliant roads around us here so I can ease myself in and be a bit more confident before having to deal with that hill. Also...the CBR is dinky and I can get both feet flat down which will help, oh...and it's a dream to handle so I hear. As for the fact that it's a little racer, I'm going to have to just take it easy and am going to book myself some private training with a very good ex instructor that we all know!

:smt046.....pmsl!
Yeah, it's tiny and exactly what I want. The only other bikes I have felt that comfy on have been a Honda CBR600RR (2002-2004?) and the short Buell Lightning. I decided against getting a new bike for a first bike, and the CBR600RR would make a better secnd bike. The BabyBlade is the perfect compromise for me. Short enough that I feel as comfortable as I do on it, but still the sporty position that I like. The Buell didn't have that, but just felt right in a different way.
Yes....I plan to ride the AR this year, but need to sort out what to do with the dogs....so I may just do half of it.
And get back on as soon as you can chick....you know you want to ;-)

I do want to and I'm borrowing gary's SV over the summer for a month to also allow to do the AR.
Just will be 18 months since I've ridden when I get back on... that a lot of cobwebs to get rid off!
Q- how on earth what? Fall off a stepper? Easy!
gruntygiggles
17-03-10, 12:26 PM
T - I didn't see your posts at the top of the page. I think I'll be fine with the CBT and tests. When it comes to anything with an engine...I just seem to pick it up in no time in order to pass. As for actually getting on the road and riding day to day is another matter entirely and I plan to commit myself to lots of training. As for the working out....I always keep a check on my heart and never get carried away, but I learned what I could do last time. It's amazing how much further you can push yourself than you think when you really put your head down.
Got to fit into last years AR t-shirt as well....thought Hovis and Vipers eyes were going to pop out when they saw my boobs "almost" contained in it...lol
