Yeah....I can't wait either. My first ride out will be Squirrel_Hunters redundancy ride which I am really pleased about because he is like family innit! :-)

Forks were reconditioned, but one of the bushes has worn, so they are not happy with the supplier and had a new one arrive this morning. Then got to sort the electrical issue out and I'll be back in the saddle :-)

I'm kinda gutted that we used that roundabout as some of the others I could get a really sharp lean angle on...lol. I'm such a tart ;-)

A. Have a bash at my folks house, garden party, with peeps staying in tents etc and a mahoosive BBQ.

Downside - Probably get a little boring.
Upside - Cheaper for all concerned.

B. Go to a restaurant in Brum, then hit the town.

Downside - Expensive.
Upside - More fun, plus parents etc can come and disappear before the night time antics start.

Morning everyone else. Bike behaved last night despite sounding like a 4000cc nt a 400cc due to a little (that got bigger) blow in the exhaust system that I need to look at today. Off to get the electrics checked when I feel I can ride. Need a couple of beers after last nights antics with the police ;-)

I know Lily....heatwave was forecast in the week and it was certainly very hot by mid afternoon yesterday. Even at midnight with just a t shirt under my textiles and no lining, I was quite warm on the ride home...even on the motorway.
