Nope.....actually had a bit of a dream this morning about marrying Stretchie.....which was lovely, then I woke up and it was a little bittersweet because it made me think of asking my uncle to join my dad in giving me away (I have wanted to do this since my cousing died when we were 14 and my uncle asked if I could be his little girl as well) and that always makes me sad.

So I'm in a strange mood at the moment. Happy, but a little teary all at the same time.

I tried them for a few days. Just left me feeling hungry all the darn time.

I thought they would to but I'm kind of getting used to it. The trick I found is lots of water, we have a water machine and I am drinking a cup every 15 minutes or so. Yes it means frequent toilet trips, but stopping me from feeling hungry and is good for me.

I'm hoping to lose about 8lbs in the first week, will then slow down and am hopint to lose 2 stone on slim fast over next 6-8 weeks. Then after that will replace slim fast with say porridge in the morning and some rice or similar at lunch. We are eating nice balanced healthy meals in the evening. All good.

im liking operation flashpoint at the mo its really challenging, took me nearly 2hrs last night to do half a mission, its way bettee than cod. i may purchase the new battlefield next week but really waiting for mafia 2 to be released

I tried I just couldnt get past feeling hungry all the time and then when I did drink one it didnt fill me up.

Green Tea is also quite good if you can get past the taste. It speeds up your metabolism to which encourages more fat burn.

I've cycled just shy of 60 miles in 3 days this week and my calorie burn is jsut under 4000 calories. I guess its not surprising to find myself hungry all the time :D

Heart Rate Monitor built into my cycling computer. Its not 100% accurate though but it works as a rough guide.

You can do it another way, look on that foodfocus website that Mike linked to in the weight loss thread : www.foodfocus.co.uk it has an exercise section so you can put in what you have done and it calculates the calorie burn for you. Its not as accurate as a heart rate monitor thoough but give you a rough idea.

If you want a computer with Heart rate they start at about £60 ish, but I use mine to make sure I am working hard enough when training and that when I am out on a big ride I am not pushing to hard.

Well you will be burning more as IIRC you journey to work is uphill. But that website bases things on average speed...

Have a look in tescos we picked up Liz a cheap heart rate monitor thats a watch type one. I cant remember if it does calorie burn or not though, but I cant see why it wouldnt.
