Rode the 550 miles back home today in the freezing pishing rain. Just about fell over when I got off the bike when I got home. Legs were numb and teeth chattering lol

Yup they did, only used one on the right hand side, put it under the right linkage so that it was propped up over on the side stand. Worked fine and was quite stable. But will be sorting out my abba soon.

A set of piston seals for one caliper is £55!!!!!! £110 for some rubber rings! Feck me they better stop me like a bullet after I've serviced them or I'll be quite upset & skint

not yet, spoke to the guy at redcar motorcycles and mentioned i'm on gixerjunkies so he said he'd do free postage and then an extra 10% off... Original parts and all that shizzle..

Managed to trap my little finger between 2 of the opposing pistons right on the first hinge bit of the finger = fecking painful & I couldn't get it out for about 2 mins!

The 318ti is horrible. Never buy a 4 cyclinder BMW of any kind. Straight 6 all the way
