Either, my rant is aimed at scum who enter peoples land without consent, park their **** bag caravans all over it. Let their kids (who should be in school) go wild. **** it all up with rubbish, fridges etc etc. Then **** off to shaft someone else over who has to deal with their mess.
I'm not against the ideal of the travelling lifestyle, hell sounds quite nice. But when you see what they leave behind. No wonder people like me think there scum. If only they stayed somewhere and moved on without the pile of **** they leave behind.
And no I don't own land, however have to ride past what was a nice bit of land that is now currently occupied by said "Gypsies", who day by day seam to be ****ing it up more.
Got to agree buddy, they have no regard for anyone or anything, the law are frightened to death of them,as are joe public.Everyone knows what they are like, yet they do what they want at will.!!!

I understand your point. I believe the problematic people are the Irish travelers rather than Gypsies. They show no respect to anyone and then complain when people aren't keen on having them around.
My sister was a pub manager some years ago and had all sorts of problems with Irish travelers.

Just come home to find someone has parked a bloody great 4*4 in front of my house. Yes I know that I have no right to expect to park in front of my own house. But he has done it so that I cannot park either in front or behind him.
Parked considerately, we can get two vehicles in the space he is occupying. Grrhhhh. I already have two cars parked on my drive so cannot get another on there. So of to p1ss of a neighbour by parking considerately in front of their house.

Pedestrians. Just hit one. Not badly - just brushed him. He stepped out from between queueing cars without looking and I didn't even have time to touch the brakes.
He didn't seem injured and carried on crossing the road, so I carried on my journey. I've filled out a form at the local Police station.
But now things are playing through my head. He was old. Hope he's ok and learns to use the bl00dy pedestrian crossing that the cars were all queueing for. For all I know he reached the far side and collapsed. I should have stopped for longer.

Kids driving clapped out scrapyard-dodging cars full of their mates who pull away from the curb just as you're about to pass because they're not paying attention and laugh when you nearly crash. Followed 30 seconds later by delivery barsteward who thinks might is right and crosses to your side of road to pass parked cars forcing you onto the verge whilst swearing at you out of his window for being in his way. This happens most of the times I go out in the bike, always when I'm within half a mile of getting back home and really ruins a nice ride out... Perhaps I should move.

A crow or raven's nest in the eves of my roof. They've used a space that the starlings used, I can see where & how they've got in.

Don't blame you. I noticed a lot of sparrows sitting on my guttering last year and after watching for a while realised they were going under the tiles. Turns out the builder that re-did my roof a few years back ran out of the comb-like stuff that blocks the mini ridges of my concrete tiles and just left it. Git. Bought some cheap bottle brushes from Wilko and used those. Luckily the felt (OK, its a kind of fabric now) is undamaged so good luck fixing yours and making good the access point.

Shooed the cat away, its parents are busy dive bombing a couple of crows who obviously know there's babies about.
So hopefully I'll be able to get up & block the hole soon.

Wheelie bins. More specifically, poorly positioned wheelie bins.

I saw it. It was in the road, not by the side of the road.
The driveway to the house is hidden by high hedgerow, until you are right on top of it. Pedestrians, with any sense, would be on the opposite side of the road.

I wasn't in your blind spot, I could see your eyes in your mirror. You could hear me because you looked when I bipped the horn. It amazes me you could hear the horn over my exhaust tonight which must have sounded loud as your window was down. You saw me again as you looked in the mirror while you carried on pulling out on me as I hit the brakes.
I hope your clapped out Focus lets you down at its next MOT.
UPS
Waitied in for 2 days for a delivery I was promised would be delivered that day, still not here, no explanation.
Had big problems with Hermes in the past. Items purchased off ebay which have been signed for delivery but never actually turned up.
Ebay had a money back policy when it first happened, but now they've watered it down so that if the delivery is signed for, you don't get a refund.
Of course the delivery company never actually shows you the signature to verify it, and it'd be pretty pointless with these stupid electronic signature devices anyway as no-one can sign properly on them. This leaves the delivery company free to take the pizz as much as they like.
We run a business from home and use MyHermes. We have never had any complaints from customers about non-delivery.

On the subject of delivery...
Ordered £30 worth of stuff off a website, 31st May...
I check the site on the 7th June as its still not arrived. Tracking says it was delivered to my safe place on the Wednesday, The only 'safe' place it could be is the wheelie bin (Left in the front) Guess what was emptied on Thursday...
Royal mail are a joke. Luckily the site has resent the order no questions asked.
It could well be one particular driver who works this area. Or it could be complete coincidence that it was Hermes on both occasions. I've also had successful deliveries from Hermes.
The gripe was more that so called "tracked" deliveries aren't actually so easy to track, signed delivery is pointless, and you've got no easy way to get your money back in the event of non-delivery. It's quite hard to prove that something wasn't delivered, as you don't have anything to show.
The issue I have with UPS is there is obviously a problem with the delivery, they probably can't find the house. It is only 2 years old. They however refuse to investigate and instead just say, there was a problem it will be delivered the next day.
Worst customer service ever.

I'm with you on this. It really p1sses me off that the cost of wifi at a hotel goes up in proportion to the cost of the rooms. Surely if a 40 quid a night place can provide free wifi, somewhere charging over 100 shouldn't need to add extra for it.

When Mrs. BP started in teaching, Wigan schools did vary their summer holidays. Goes back to when the mills would shut for a holiday but would stagger the closures to avoid overloading the local holiday locations. Mostly Blackpool from here. Her school was an early summer holiday school, so for years, our annual two weeks away would be off peak, saving us loads of money. Plus, not as busy when you're there! Gutted when they fell in line with the rest of the UK.

Drivers that stop in the middle of the road for a chat with their mate on the pavement, or even worse a car in the opposite lane. Seriously if you want to talk, pull over and talk, or call them when you stop, don't block a road in rush hour when people are trying to use it for it's intended purpose. A quick passing on of information followed by an apology to the drivers you held up is one thing, but five minutes just for a chat is just being pig ignorant to everyone behind you.

T*ssers in cars
On Monday night I had two twits behind me spinning up their tyres at the lights (didn't know Renault Clios were RWD?!?) then passed me doing over a ton in a 40 and barely got round the corners due to the sliding. Then tonight an old boy trying to ram (yes, really, and deliberately) another car at 80mph because the other car wanted to change lanes on the motorway. The old boy was within about half an inch of causing a huge smash that probably would have wiped out upwards of a dozen cars.
