Thing is though, even the summer in Scotland isn't that great. It's usually raining most of the time anyway

Morning all. Most beautiful and cold and crisp this morning. Woke up and the valley below the house was covered in fog, just the tree tops showing through half way up the hill, the sky on the horizon was bright pink, then bright blue, big moon still hanging in the sky and ground covered in thick frost. Walked the dogs in a t-shirt and it felt great.

Dan has had to take the blackbird to work this morning though, so hope he gets there ok.

Been told not to do the 8-9 shift anymore, so this morning i left home at 8 and it took almost 50 minutes to get to work. Won't be doing that again, i'll come in at my old time and just sit down stairs. I cant handle the extra numpties on the road at that time of the morning

I'm doing a mixture of work, revision and research for my interview next monday.

It's the same for me V. If I leave at 7.30 I'm here at 7.45, fifteen mins before I need to be. If I leave at 7.40 I get here at 8.10-8.15ish.

I used to do that V. Didn't need to be in work til 8, but I would arrive at the office at 6.45 after having walked Stig and Hollie, had a shower and a 30 minute drive into town. everyonw thought I was crazy, but I ALWAYS got a parking spot city centre right outside the office, when it was time to finish, I would be home by the time most got on their bus and best of all...I'd have all that time to myself on the computer to do research, so by 8am, I was on the phone making monet while everyone else was just starting research :-)
