Put loads of weight on over Christmas, I don't suppose all the ale has helped!
Not that that will stop me of course.

I'll need some tips as I pressed some for the 1st time this year......................
.....................:puker:
Hasn't stopped me drinking it though!
i have to limit my intake or i get a bit stroppy these days. mind you saying that i had a good old belly full at the xmas night out and was a happy chappy.
dont do the pressed stuff. turbo cider is where its at. cheep easy and blooody good results. i have found its a lot do do with what yeast you use. going to try a turbo yeast for a giggle one of these days.

Cool, PM me your fav & I'll brew up a batch.
I've done some with cartons of apple juice and that was better than this muck.
If I can refrain from drinking it all before it's ready, I'll try to save some Blackberry wine for AR11
i'll dig out one of my more successful recipes. my next trial is with essance instead of real fruit juice for the flavouring. should work.

Back soon - eating!
On the subject of bitter, drank the bar dry of tennants or any other lager last night, literally, so it was onto Export last night!
Wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, its wet and ends in a percent, always a good start :p :drunken:
Fell out with the folks... again... apparently coming in steaming off my tits at around 7am doesn't go down that well... :\

its full of hackers online, story mode is not bad but it gets boring after a will as its just riding around killing people but its still a good game, online was over run by hackers straight away.

What about fallout or fable? Any good?
Wideboy
29-12-10, 10:26 PM
fallout is awesome, i'd advice buying fallout 3 before new vegas otherwise you wont get it, fallout 3 would be like £10 now. fallout 3 and new vegas are teh only games i've thought worth the 30 odd quid i paid for them at the time
i herd fable was meant to be good but everyone i spoke to say the new one was over hyped and it was crap....... not played it tho was waiting for it to come down in price
DarrenSV650S
29-12-10, 10:32 PM
Cool might get fallout
Wideboy
29-12-10, 10:34 PM
trick with fall out is not to follow the storyline religously, there is loads and loads of side quests that get you cool weapons and armours, skills ect you can do all sorts, i made the mistkae of jsut going for the completion on the first one and missed out on loads, tried to restart it but its so long winded i gave up and new vegas came out

I like those sort of games. I was well disappointed with black ops. It's the first cod I've had and the single player is pathetic. You've got no choices at all. It's pretty much like watching a film

On a completely different subject, my car exhaust decided to break today and now sounds like a scooby with a dustbin exhaust. So that should be nice and expensive to fix
Wideboy
29-12-10, 11:20 PM
no just get a budget one, i stuck a 40 quid jobby on my old car and hammered it about to fit and it actually sounded nice, was normal quite just gave a rasp when you floored it like a rally car

Anyway, jobs erm, yeah. i have an interview for an internal transfer on the 4th. Technically speaking they will have to offer it to me there and then as my last day is the 5th (Working with Xerox) and i Start with the new company on the 6th. I really want this other ob as its the area i have been trying to get back into, Fleet management, since my last try (Lots personal issues at the time and i couldnt give it 100%) so fingers crossed. It will be a bit of a bind travling every day, but i have had it good all my work life so far, so cant really complain.
