but i'm dose up on piankillers and antibiotics - and I could think of worse way to spend monday!!

I had root canal treatment on a back tooth and had to go about 4 times and I wish I had just got the tooth pulled instead.

Had RC on on tooth already and it doesn't bother me. What bother me is the fact that the tooth has no disintergrated and has left me nothing to attach my crown to so I have a gap I really don't want this happening to a front tooth - I'm too young for falsies!!

Just got back from the hospital, been booked in for knee op begging of April.
Consultant says I'll be recovering for x3 months.

No doubt I'll be spending much more org time during rehab so it ain't all bad :D

Ahh that the place or wreakes lane? They have a reasonable reputation, good for them he's gone then.

Guess you'll find out when you're back on your feet. They told me not to drive or do stuff for 6 weeks after I broke my pelvis but I was back at work after 5 days.

I never really use the same recipe.
I just throw the ingredients in together to get it right.

The only thing I do the same is the caramel -

175 g butter
175 g caster sugar
1 can condensed milk

Melt the butter and the sugar in a pan until the sugar has dissolved.
Add the condensed milk while constantly stirring.
As soon as you see it coming to the boil take it off the heat and pour over the shortbread base :)

You do know that they sell "Dulce de Leche" in cans so dont need to make your own from Condensed Milk?

Only issue is that is still a little too runny out of the can for Millionaires Shortbread

Although if you are just eating it with a spoon...

On the subject of Shortbread, I got my Uncles top secret recipe for Shortbread at the weekend, so will be trying that out soon :)

Peoples Palace was good - apart from gawking at various buildings in and around the George Square area on the way there, Down Ingram St, popped into A1 Comics then out to the Peoples Palace.

After the Palace we walked back to Saltmarket then along Clyde St, where my dad was picking us up - ended up in the St Enoch centre and got picked up from there.

Legs hated me the next day as I had been carrying all the luggage in a rucksack, but that soon sorted itself out :)
