much better thanks, hows your back?
a comedy of errors
reacted badly to painkillers so off everything now - blisters all over my feet and fingers and back still sore!!
Told one of the m/b paramedics that I'm coming to mug him of his morphine tonight once I've finished college!!
and the sodding doc's won't sign me off!
MBK I have rock!!
Wideboy
25-01-11, 03:49 PM
I have rock also........... in my pants har har har *runs away*
hmm bet you don't want yours dipped in hot tea though!!!
Q that sounds very painful. Just a thought but your corsets should provide a bit of support for the back, are you able to wear them during the day?
True anna though not sure if it will help or hinder waiting for NHS physio, trying to organise private physio, and trying to organise work to sort out an oestopath before I go off long term!
not sure i would be able to tie them up but is suppose i can have an go!!
A couple of years ago one of our actors put her back out, and was told by her physio to wear a corset to support her during they day... I think yours will be perfect for it as it already has a lot of supportive structure.

I will do, i reckon the final will be months away, this will just be my way of getting a few ideas across to the rest of the band, so it won't be publicly available, but if im happy enough i might pm you a link ;)

Nice one, I was the same.
All our old tracks / rehearsal rough cuts always sounded too unpolished to put out there. Not even sure but we still have some kicking about on mini disc.
If our drummer ever digs any of it out (he was a sound tek) I'll do the same.
g2g, making the Mrs tea & trying to light the fire from a few embers (tight Yorkshireman trick).

I am always shocked at how much strength elderly people with dementia have! I remember trying to stop an old lady trying to wreck the hospital and she bit me on the hand! A short while later, the nurses tried to give her a cuppa tea and biscuits so she spent the next half an hour throwing ginger nuts at them!!!
minimorecambe
25-01-11, 08:48 PM
Oh yes MBK, they are strong! I have had broken bones, snapped ligaments, black eyes, bust nose etc.
But I can forgive them because I know they dont mean it and they would be horrified if they kn ew what they were doing.

Better than being on crutches matey.
Since last posting/chatting to you my knee decided to give up on me.
After turning the air blue I've applied frozen peas & then a hot beanbag but still cannot straighten the bleeping thing.
Reconstructive surgery years ago but never been right since.:pale:

If it's still bad in the am I'll blag a lift with the wife & hobble into work.
Can't afford to get laid off even if I'm in agony.
I'd chop the dam thing off if it wasn't the only place I had a tattoo!

I don't care what anyone says, it's bloody well true!
I have a bad knee and it always gives me jip when the weather changes, particularly if it gets cold quickly or gets wet.

My mate at work did his knee early last year.
I tried to warn him but he thought I was spouting rhubarb.
He now knows the truth.
yes it is true, i now know. my chest ache's like feck when the weather turns.

Cant mind off hand, i've put together some parts i bought last summer, this may or may not be correct:
AMD 3.1GHz Quad Core
4GB RAM
1TB HDD (2 x 500GB)
Windows 7
It was originally my show control computer, but I bought a laptop to do that, so the desktop became redundant, but I'm now trying all this recording, and the laptop can't keep up once you're at 8+ channels, so i've resurrected the desktop for that!
