The Idle Biker
18-02-11, 10:55 PM
aww I've not got the bottle to work on bikes. If I had more than one I think I'd learn, but mucking up my bike is too scarry. I stopped when 2 strokes went out of fashion and valves appeared. Don't worry about supporting a naff local team, loyalty is quality, I support QPR, I've suffered.
mind you if you take longer than 4-5 weeks i'll end up coming down and doing it for you and you really dont want that to happen now do you....
andrewsmith
18-02-11, 11:00 PM
haha once yours is sorted!
Be alright if i had/ had access to a garage or workshop what I had to do to the bike is 3 days work and it taken 11 weeks because its been too *******ing cold to work outside
tell me about it. if i had somewhere warm to work on the bike it would be finished by now.
Yeah the music works through my bluetooth on my phone.
Single kit is £149

whhhhatttttt, that's outrageously unexpected??? I bet I could av im though? bon soir
he'd get my vote. i love how the media always show the bad side of bike clubs and not the 'charitable' side of them. there is a lot of good that goes on and no one ever gets to hear about that.
i hate the stigmatism of ooohhh look at those nasty bikers. when in fact a biker in a crowd is more likely to help an old person across the road.
andrewsmith
18-02-11, 11:21 PM
Very True!
Not involved with the clubs but was at the last Northern Sisters bash in January
Most of the cash went to charity. Couple of the guys were helping the police after hell kicked off outside the club
munkygunn182
18-02-11, 11:22 PM
Easter Egg Run in Glasgow, prime example. 100% charitable, but being clamped down on because of orange walks. Go figure!
yup we had the 'sick kids' tedybear run in edin but that was put a stop too (as far as i know).
munkygunn182
18-02-11, 11:36 PM

munkygunn182

Led by a star, the big city lights, the promise of a better tomorrow, or maybe just a bottle :D
but where. i've never been out in glasgow at night just daytime. i love the wegies for the banter but had a few run ins with them when they get drunk and rowdy.
i frequent a homebrew forum and there is a general concences (SP) that there is a great place not far from one of the breweries.
i love going across the west coast as its much more 'real' and less stuck up.
munkygunn182
19-02-11, 12:57 AM
I've put a thread up in the Ecosse section ;)

munkygunn182
19-02-11, 01:06 AM
If the name comes back into your head, hit me up with it, theres a handful of wee breweries around me! (Dunno about art studios though!)

where in glasgow can i get a REAL pint of 80/
munkygunn182
19-02-11, 01:16 AM
80/ is ember yes?
Strangely enough in my union, but it's pretty common in Glasgow. If plans to get drunk on this side of the world go through, I'll go a reckie and see where you'll get a pint!
munkygunn182
19-02-11, 01:19 AM
Morning, how many pubs you been in tonight then? ;)
no 80 over the west might be export or better. i know 70 is special if we are talking tennants
mornin sheep shaggger. hows aber?
munkygunn182
19-02-11, 01:23 AM
Pint of export is an easy one (I believe the solid rock cafe has it, if not, i'd imagine the horse shoe bar deffo will!)
Cold and wet, quite standard for here, Fife?
I have 4 women staying in my flat tonight, but they're all asleep :(
Football tomorrow, going to be fun in the rain :(
right the night out has to have:
close to train station
highland park (to entice the kilted one)
good beer
i'm up for glasgow coz i've done edin toooooooo many times.
fife is fife and sunny lol
wake them up....
munkygunn182
19-02-11, 01:28 AM
So long as we remain in the city centre we'll be no more than 10 mins from the station, highland park on every shelf! ( I do believe that Glasgows widest choice of whisky is dead opposite Queen St station... do we need any more than that to entice the kilted one?) And good beers galore!
do we need any more than that to entice the kilted one?) And good beers galore!
no.. if its like the last time at £5 a nip he will be happy. might even see a few other being across the west side.
