Sounds like a tough but rewarding job MM.
I dont think uni's all it's cracked up to be, but then my experience of it hasnt been the same as the other girls who dont have small people.

Night, sweaty drams.
Us hardly bikers should sit on our bikes outside, in our leathers, eating cake, looking mean, aggressive and snarling at small children.
minimorecambe
31-05-11, 09:47 PM
But you might spill crumbs??!!
Night Andy :)
So? My bike is filthy. Like, proper filthy. There's bird **** all over it and if you even brush past it you're covered in dirt but I don't care though... it looks cooler that way. The light probably would work even less now if I ever went on it in the dark purely because of the amount of flies on it.
HOWEVER, if you were implying we'd spill crumbs on your property then don't fear as I always have a mini hoover in my backpack for such emergencies.
minimorecambe
31-05-11, 09:51 PM
I have a bulldog for such emergencies. :p
Then crumb spillage shall not be a problem! Excellent news.

S/he has been trained to use a vacuum cleaner! wow.
I've seen dogs playing pool in paintings but I've got to see that.

It would help if he wasnt terrified of the vacuum cleaner. He is scared of everything - he's the most pathetic bulldog I have ever come across!

Lol sounds ace.
Sarahs mam is a dog groomer and as such has generally has had long haired breeds.
I'm hoping, if we have to have a smaller dog, to get a short haired.
I know you end up picking up more but they tend to be much cooler IMO.

Isnt he just :D
He is a rescue and we think he was abused because he is very skitty and hates people with a Liverpool accent.
bless him!
I keep swaying towards getting another dog, but I just cant at the moment.
minimorecambe
31-05-11, 10:14 PM
I don't know what it's like to be without a dog really.
We have had -
St Bernard
Bull Mastiff
2x Labradors
American Bulldog (current)
I want another Lab, and my friends 2 have each had a litter of puppies - puppies in total! Sooooo tempted!

Cool hound.
I'm refraining from making a regionalist remark (too easy).
I was lucky enough to have a lovely rescue dog (Bella) when I was at home, years ago.
She was the most loving animal I have ever known.
When we went to the rescue centre (having mithered the living hell out of mum n dad for months) she was basically skin and bone.
Two dogs that a couple had bought.
the couple split and the bloke didn't feed 'her dogs'.
a jack russell (died just after rescue) and bella (just survived).
I'm always amazed how animals that have been through do much can still love a human.

Problem with Max is he loves me too much.
He is very over protective of me.
I have to have a baby gate at the top of my stairs (my room is in the loft), if he gets up to my room while I am sleeping he will gaurd my bed and not even let my Mam or Dad near me.
He is fine when I am awake, its just when I am asleep and he sees me as vulnerable.
he sounds like a cool dog MM.
I'm off to bed folks. laters!

Morning.
Not the best nights sleep for me.
The birds woke me up at around 4am.
The local cockerel made sure at around 4:30.
The boy is fast on and hasn't woken all night.
Maybe if I had been sleeping in 2 bags like his mum insisted I might have dropped off sooner and woken up later ;)
Oooh, forgot you were camping it up Fyy!
I'm exhausted, hate getting back into the swing of 12hr shifts. Day off today then on for 3! :(
Morning all
I too is shattered this morning - all this fitness lark is not good for you!!
morning
raking dead moss from the lawn, now THATS a recipe for aching bones!!!
