Better not be - it was serviced by the same place in March and they said it would fly through the MOT. Just needs a fuse for the windscreen washers to work. (They wanted £20 to do that, I was like, erh, I might be a girl but I can change a fuse!)

This isn't any type of fuse. This is a M&S fuse
sorry couldn't resist
LOL... yeah, went to the little car parts shop, one fuse 20p.
speaking of changing fuses, I still havent done it yet, should really go and do it now...
It probably needs windscreen wipers too, but that can wait for now. The MOT doesn't expire until the 28th so it's not like I cant have my car back if they tell me it's going to fail, which they wont...
morning kittens
very tired boy. i counted 6 power cuts in the space of 15 minutes last night, and power was still off when i tried sleeping. Of course kept waking pretty much every hour throughout the night as i was paranoid about the alarm on my phone not going off. going to be a long day... :(
still, last full week for me for 4 weeks so hurrah for that!

Hello People!
I was going to go out and play but Sydney seems to have developed a fuel leak...
*sad bunneh is sad*
And a another gorgeous lady to grace the megathread
Fuel leaks are not good. Any idea where its coming from?
Woohoo what a walk!!
Fenj not good - do you need a handyman???
I am a man and handy ;)
I still have soggy toes form my walk to/from the station this morning
Aww TY Viney!
It's coming from under the fuel tank... obviously, in the middle near a load of gubbins and connector looking type bits... I cant really see, from where. Only leaking when the engine is running, not when stopped, wondered if the tank was over full (It's literally full to the brim) and it was a pressure thing... not sure tho? Took it a short round the block to see if it stopped when warmed up but no. Still dripping.
Yes Q I think I do!

What me to tell him that he's going visting tonight then - I can do the housework guaranteed for him to stay away
remember haveing a fuel leak on Clunk - but that was the tank being knackered! (and leaking all the time)
I shall throw out the damsel in distress call!!

Oooh corroded and split fuel pipe for the epic fail... Q do you know if G has any spare pipe? If not there's not too much rush for him to come out. It's the one under the airbox that feeds fuel to the carbs, which look shiny and clean btw! lol
Not rreally an epic fail. Just old age that comes to us all i suppose, even a lowly fuel pipe.
Not knowingly but I know a man who might

Dammit. I have injured my Medial Collateral Ligament in my knee. Need to go back to physio!
ok.. so bad stuff:
Sydneys fuel leak,
phone returned by nokia as unrepairable
good stuff:
At least the car passed the MOT!
How has everyone's day been?
Milky Bar Kid
06-06-11, 06:06 PM
The bad stuff sucks...good stuff is....well...good.
Apart from the above post, my day has been ok. Fed up with my knee though.
hmmm, knee problems take a long time to heal, I do hope yours improves though.
The fuel leak should be an easy fix providing i get the right size pipe and clamps.

Been pretty much told today that it will bother me on and off for good now. I already have cartlidge problems in the same knee. It's rubbish!!!
I don't like fuel leaks...they are naughty! What caused that then? Just general wear and tear?
I think so MBK, it seems like it's been on at a funny angle, guess it's just one of those things.
that sucks about your knee, hopefully you find a way to live with it with as few flare ups as possible.

Maybe would be a good thing though Gav because if he thinks he is awesome he might just do something silly on the road....better realising it on the track by fecking up than doing it on the road...
